Have you checked out the receipes in Prevent and Reverse Heart Disease by Dr Caldwell Esselstyn Jr. MD.
Dear Carolyn,
I haven’t checked out Dr. Esselstyn’s book. Does he have a website? I’ll check it out. And Carolyn, I have a ticket for to the June 23 SEnior Center Concert if you’d like to go.
Yours,
RuthAnn
Ruth Ann,
I enjoyed your thoughts on contrasts and the Scripture you used. Contrasts accent our different talents given to us by the Lord and magnify Him when we at ease in displaying them.
Blessings,
Debbie
What beautiful pictures of food! They make me hungry.
Dear Lori,
Thank you. We work hard on those pictures. I’be been thinking about you, and want to get with you for lunch. e-mail some times that would work for you.
Yours,
RuthAnn
I am so impressed by what you and Dale have done here! I can’t wait to do some cooking! Thanks for your encouraging words!
Ruth Ann,
Your bisque sounds yummy. I bet you could use an imersion blender to puree the sweet potao mixtue. That way you wouldn’t have to dirty and clean up the food processor!
I enjoyed the thoughts on orange. Please don’t forget it is one of the two colors of the Broncos too!
Debbie
Dear Debbie,
That is a great idea. Using an immersion blendder would speed up the process and eliminate the clean up of a food processor. I like it!
RuthAnn
RuthAnn, I really enjoyed your entry on sweet potatoes. Your reference to panellets reminded me of the year I spent in Barcelona, and sent me to my Catalan cookbook. They are a kind of cookie with a marzipan base. I’m going to send you a copy of the cookbook page that talks about them and gives a recipe, though it uses regular potatoes instead of sweet potatoes–I think sweet potatoes would be so much tastier.
Loved the picture of you and Robin too!
Smooches,
Martha
Ruth Ann,
The photography in your recent entry was especially beautiful and personal, since I recognize the tree, porch and even the stag ( I think he is the one that visits us). Thanks for reminding me of the Message translation of Gal 5. It is especially meaningful to me right now.
Debbie
Ruth Ann,
I look forward to trying the easy gourmet pesto sauce on some pasta soon. Thanks for the encouraging words regarding cooking.
Debbie
Dear Debbie,
How great to hear from you on our blog. I’m excited you want to try the sauce. I love it!
Love,
RuthAnn
